LOGO ARTWORK REPRODUCTION INFORMATION

This is the section for logos only. If you are going to supply an exact layout
for your award using specific fonts and sizes,
see the "Using your layout for an award" section.

There is a digitizing charge of $50 per logo and
$25 to alter an existing logo or digitize a signature.

These are the preferred methods to supply your logo artwork
see below for other options if these are not available

.eps saved with coreldraw or adobe illustrator
.cdr (Corel Draw version x3 or before) or
.ai (Adobe Illustrator version 9 or before)
.pdf with line art
Convert fonts to curves
Save in PC format
If using a disk, format it for PC

Almost any logo can be reproduced including low resolution jpg's, business cards, letterhead or a copy of an award.

However for the most accurate results quality art is desired if available.
We retrace your art so even very low quality images can be reprodeced as long
as you can read any text and distinguish shapes.

Here are the types of artwork that can be used with the most desirable listed first.

Logos are only reproduced in black and white.
Some logos can mimic greyscale by using a cross hatch fill or dot pattern.

We will convert logos with color and gradients into black and white.


.cdr or saved as .eps Corel Draw Version x3 or lower vector(wireframe) art

Convert any fonts to curves as we may not have the font you used or supply windows .ttf font that was used.

We cannot use MAC fonts.


.ai Adobe Illustrator Version 9 or lower vector(wireframe) art
.eps saved from Adobe v10 - CS will usually work.
.ai saved from ver. 10-12 will usually work, from ver cs seldom will.

Convert any fonts to curves as we may not have the font you used or supply windows .ttf font that was used.

We cannot use MAC fonts.

"save as" pc version for version 9.


.bmp .jpg generic bitmap(picture) images that usually will be usable

save on pc formatted media or email as per above.


hyperlink to a web page graphic available to the public.


program specific files that are sometimes usable

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, Microsoft PowerPoint

Corel Word Perfect 10

.cdr, .cpt - bitmap(non-vector picture files) saved with Corel Draw or PhotoPaint 11

.ai - bitmap(non-vector picture files) saved with Adobe Illustrator 9- or Photoshop6.

.pdf - adobe pdf file

save on pc formatted media or email as per above.


printed artwork - Any art that is clear enough to distinguish shapes even if low quality.

Usually a letterhead or business card will work.

Sometimes we can scan the image from an award or other product you have.


anything you can see on your computer screen

On a PC display the image as large as possible. Depress the "print scrn" key.

Open Accessories - Paint. Edit-Paste the image. Save as a bmp.


program specific files that are not usable

quark files, Microsoft Publisher or other program specific files

The graphics in these can sometimes be "saved as" or "exported" from your application to a generic type such as jpg, bmp or pdf.

You may also be able to "copy" and "paste" it into Accessories-Paint.
