OVERALL AWARD LAYOUT

With all the publishing programs available, you may want to design the exact layout of your award.
While we can easily match the overall concept of your design, using the exact layout is not recommended.
It is actually more difficult to produce and may incur additional charges.
The look of a printed layout on white paper appears different when engraved.
Usually words engraved the same size as printed will appear much smaller when engraved.
See below on how to provide an exact font.

Most awards require the award layout and formatting to be completed in our engraving specific program.
We use some special vector line fonts but can vector line fill any true-type font.
Any provided layout on paper or application file will have to be entered in this program.

This is not a printing program and uses decimals of inches instead of points.

Artwork provided in eps or corel draw version 11 or lower can be used for laserable items only.

The Page Size must be set to the actual size of the item to be laser engraved with only one item per file.

All fonts should be converted to curves since we may not have the font you used. We will not be able to
make any text changes later.

Colors will be converted to greyscale. Solid colors of grey will be reproduced by converting to a dot pattern.

Gradients can not be reproduced.
